Located in Upper Sandusky, Wyandot Memorial Hospital is a not-for-profit acute care hospital offering medical, surgical, obstetrical, critical care, coronary care, medical oncology and pediatric care services. The hospital opened in 1950 with 50 beds, and is now licensed for 39: 28 in the medical/surgical department, 6 in intensive/coronary care and 5 obstetrical beds in maternity. The nursery has a capacity of 6 bassinets. The hospital also offers a 24-hour emergency department, heliport for emergency transfers, laboratory/pathology, pharmacy, cardiopulmonary, radiology, ultrasound, mammography, CT and Dexa scanning, mobile MRI and PET, nuclear medicine, cardiology, physical therapy, JobCare occupational health, Wellness Center rehab and disease prevention programs and home medical equipment and supplies.
