Located on East 5th Street, this museum traces the rise and decline of the ceramics industry in East Liverpool and covers the industry's effects on the town and its people. Displayed are life-size dioramas of a jigger shop, kiln and decorating shop; photographs, charts and maps tracing local history; and a collection of ceramics ranging from primitive yellow ware to highly refined Louts Ware. Open Wednesday through Saturday 9:30am-5pm, Sunday and holidays noon-5pm in March through November. Open by appointment the rest of the year. Closed major holidays.
