Piedmont Lake is a 2,300-acre lake located in eastern Ohio primarily in Belmont County with a small portion in Harrison County.
The main use of the impound is for fishing due to the 10 horsepower limit for boat motors. Species include Bluegill, Bullhead, Channel and Flathead Catfish, Crappie, Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, Muskellunge and Saugeye. There are two public boat ramps on the lake.
The 4,400 acres surrounding the lake supports over 80 campsites which are maintained by the full-service marina. Some full hookups are available as well as electric-only sites.
