Richfield is located in northeastern Ohio in northwest Summit County about 15 miles south of Cleveland. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 3,634, an increase of 427 since 1990. Outdoor recreation includes trips to Cleveland Lakefront State Park on Lake Erie. Golfers have the opportunity to enjoy a round of golf Leaning Tree Golf Club, a public 18-hole, executive-style course that plays to a par of 54.
