Rockbridge is located in southeastern Ohio in Hocking County about 30 miles southeast of Columbus and 10 miles south-southeast of Lancaster on the banks of the Hocking River.
Visitors to the area are encouraged to drive the Dogwood Trail, which gets it's name for being a prime viewing route for the area's Dogwood blossoms in late April and May. In addition, the town is located with minutes to the east and south of the facilities within Wayne National Forest. Lake Logan is about 5 miles southeast of town.
For golfers, the town offers Windy Hills Golf Course, a fun little 9-hole course that is about 3,100 yards long with a par of 36 and is open to the public.
