Wadsworth is located in northeastern Ohio in southeastern Medina County about 10 miles southwest of Akron. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 17,567, an increase of 1,849 since 1990. Pine Valley Golf Club, open for play in 1961, offers the public 18 holes of tranquil relaxation.
