Lake Ponca is located in northern Oklahoma in Kay County northeast of Ponca City and the intersection of U.S. Highways 60 and 77. The 800-acre lake has a shoreline of about 15 miles and is fed by Big Turkey Creek which flows into the northwest arm of the lake and Little Turkey Creek which flows into the northeast arm. The lake has 11 areas either fully or partially developed for recreational use. Amenities and facilities include campsites and camper parking with electric hookups, cabins, picnic areas with outdoor grills, kitchen and dining area, swimming pool, restrooms and drinking water, concessions, boat ramps and fishing docks.
