Lake Konawa is located in central Oklahoma northeast of Konawa in Seminole County just north of the Canadian River.
The 1,350-acre lake has a shoreline of 20 miles and is formed by an Oklahoma Gas and Electric dam/power plant which provides the area fishing, picnic area, restrooms, boat ramps, parking, boating, waterskiing and swimming. Largemouth bass fishing is ranked second in the state, behind only Lake Eucha in production among lakes larger than 1,000 acres.
Lake Konawa is a day-use only facility and no hunting is allowed in this designated Wildlife Refuge.
