Lake Lawtonka is located in southwestern Oklahoma in Comanche County about 15 miles northwest of Lawton just north of the Ft. Sill Military Reservation near Medicine Park. The 2,400-acre lake, with about 20 miles of shoreline, is noted for its smallmouth bass catch and release program. Largemouth bass, catfish, crappie, saugeye and walleye can be taken.
The lake has 7 developed recreation areas including School House Slough and Robinson Landing each with a with a full-service marina. Other amenities and facilities include boat ramps; boat docks; fishing docks; campsites; camper parking; electricity; picnic area; grills; trash bins; restrooms; playground; drinking water and concession stands.
