Seminole Medical Center (SMC) is a 32-bed state-of-the-art facility built in 1998, this 64,000 square-foot complex is located on 20 acres, which is owned by the City of Seminole and managed by The Schuster Group. The hospital serves approximately 30,000 residents in Seminole County and is the model for rural health care in Oklahoma.
SMC has 26 acute care rooms, four critical care rooms, and LDRP rooms for labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum care. All patient rooms are private and designed to provide a home-like atmosphere so that recovery can be made easier.
Staffed by a qualified emergency room physician and ACLS certified nurses, the Emergency Room is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days per year.
With two large operating suites, a post-anesthesia recovery suite, and endoscopy services, their highly skilled surgical staff is dedicated to caring for your surgical needs.
