The Oklahoma barite rose, sometimes referred to as the "Cherokee Rose", became Oklahoma's official state rock on April 8, 1968 when Governor Dewey F Bartlett signed House Bill 1277. Larry's Rose Rock Collectibles is a new startup business offering exquisitely detailed barite roses to the travelling tourist or discriminating collector. For an appointment normal business hours are most evenings and weekends.
