Oklahoma State Universityis located in Stillwater, in Payne County about 65 miles north-northeast of Oklahoma City and about the same west of Tulsa. The 415-acre campus supports a number of fraternities and sororities and over 285 clubs and service organizations.
Founded in 1890, this publicly funded land-grant institution offers undergraduate programs in agricultural sciences and natural resources, arts and sciences, business, education, engineering, architecture, technology, and human environmental resources. There are six undergraduate schools and one graduate school. Including residence halls there are 200 buildings, some of them historic.
