Oklahoma Panhandle State University is located in Goodwell, in Texas County, southwest of Guymon along U.S. Highway 54. The 120-acre campus is in a rural area 100 miles north of Amarillo.
Founded in 1909, this is a publicly funded institution offering undergraduate programs in the liberal arts, business, education, agriculture, and preprofessional training. There are five undergraduate schools. Including residence halls, there are 26 buildings.
There are over 45 clubs and organizations on campus and tours of the campus are available by contacting the admissions office.
