Situated in Brockville's historic downtown core, the Brockville Museum features exhibits and artifacts related to the community's rich history, including an 1890's St. Lawrence Skiff manufactured by the Sauve Boat Works and vehicles, such as the Brockville Atlas, produced by the Canada Carriage Company. Changing displays and special events compliment the permanent exhibits. The Brockville Community Museum also houses the Leeds and Grenville Genealogical Society and the local history archives, and is actively involved in educational programmes for both children and adults alike. As well, the Museum holds The River City Gallery and has a picnic area overlooking the majestic St. Lawrence River.
