The International Picture Framers School was started as the Canadian Picture Framers School in 1987 in British Columbia and expanded to Ontario in 1990. Students have come from all parts of Canada, from many parts of the United States and from as far away as S. Africa, Kuwait, UAR, the Caribbean, UK, India, Japan and the Middle East. Artists and professional photographers have taken the course in order to complement their existing professions.
