The Halton Cross Country Ski Club, a registered none-profit organization, provides an opportunity for skiers to meet one another, to share experiences, and ski in small groups rather than alone. It has expanded its outdoor recreational activities to include canoeing and sea kayaking. These trips have taken us as far away as Vancouver Island or closer by to Killarny Provincial Park and Georgian Bay area. Canoe day-outings to Rockwood Conservation area or the Grant River have been great fun. Camping/canoeing/kayaking weekends in the Haliburton/Georgian Bay regions have proven to be great adventures.
