A four-story brick building built in 1906. Exhibits detail early Klamath history. Built to lodge travelers arriving by train from Northern California. The Senator George Baldwin Hotel originally housed a hardware store on its main floor. Experiencing a growing demand for overnight lodging, the senator removed the hardware and added additional rooms. If Oregon's history is your passion, the hotel is a "must see." Baldwin's daughter, Maud, left the community a pictorial history of the city. Her work is on display at the museum, along with thousands of artifacts from that era.
This is just one of the many Historical Museums located throughout Oregon.
