Nestled among giant Ponderosas at the edge of the Cascades in Central Oregon is Black Butte Ranch - a resort and recreational community of 1830 acres. Aspen groves near the entrance open to "Big Meadow," where cattle and horses graze against a backdrop of snow-capped peaks. The Lodge Restaurant has mesmerizing views of the lake and mountains, and presents award-winning Pacific Northwest cuisine. The Aspen Lounge is a special retreat for joining friends for cocktails, entertainment, or dining from the Caf menu. The new Big Meadow Clubhouse opened in 2002, with a Restaurant and Lounge offering casual dining, and an expanded Golf Shop. BBR offers a variety of accommodations, from hotel-type bedrooms, condominium suites, and vacation rental homes. Each is furnished with the owners personalized decor.
