Located on the east side of the Rogue River at the base of Lost Creek Dam near Casey State Park, this large hatchery raises a wide range of fish, including rainbow trout, coho, chinook salmon, and steelhead. Cole M Rivers Fish Hatcher is the largest hatchery on the west coast, and rears over 3.5 million fish per year. There is an observation deck which overlooks a collection pond and holding ponds. A viewing room overlooks the spawning area and display ponds feature trout and steelhead.
