Crescent Lake

Search Visit Oregon

Crescent Lake is a popular recreation lake in the Deschutes National Forest just east of the summit of the Cascade Mountain Range. The lake is ideal for sailing, swimming, windsurfing, and fishing (a 30 pound lake trout was caught here in 1990). Water is drawn off for irrigation throughout the summer, so by the fall, the lake level could drop as much as 15 feet.
