The Dunlop Trail was rebuilt in 1990 by Sierra Club volunteers and a Forest Service trail crew. The trail takes visitors past beautiful meadows, as well as an old homestead site, and some of the oldest ponderosa pine trees one will ever see. The trail is accessible May through October. Contact the Ashland Ranger District for more information and directions.
