The Blackwater Company has operated premium float trips for groups of up to 12 fly fishers from around the world. The prolific population of wild, native rainbow trout has remained very consistent through these years. As the only outfitter on the Blackwater River of British Columbia, they are able to offer their parties a very high degree of privacy, rarely seeing another angler along the river. In the off-season, they are very active working to conserve the Blackwater, its tributaries and area lakes so that this productive native rainbow habitat and the unique flyfishing opportunities it presents are protected.
