The airport is a state-of-the-art regional center for air travel. Major air carriers offer a full schedule of daily flights, averaging over 750,000 air travelers annually. Daily non-stop service includes Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and Salt Lake City. From the airport, it's a 10-minute trip to downtown Eugene or Springfield and just over an hour to the Oregon Coast. Rental car and taxi services are available. The airport is located northwest of Eugene, west of Highway 99.
Eugene Airport, also known as Mahlon Sweet Field, is owned and operated by the City of Eugene. It is the fifth-largest airport in the Pacific Northwest, providing commercial air service to a six-county region in mid-Oregon. The airport also has an expanded air cargo facility to serve the growing air cargo demands of the region, and one Fixed Base Operator (FBO) to handle general aviation needs.
The parking lot is attended 24 hours a day, containing 237 short-term and over 1000 long-term parking spaces in the main lot, plus 582 overflow spaces. When the overflow lot is in use, shuttle service to and from the terminal is available. Short-term parking is $1.00 per half hour or $12.00 per day. Long-term parking is $6.00 per day or $36 for a seven day week. Credit cards, local checks, and cash are accepted.
