In the Mount Hood National Forest, Clackamas River Ranger District. Located 12 miles east on Interstate-205 from exit 288 off Interstate 5 south of Portland, to Gladstone and fifteen miles east on Hwy 224 to Estacada, then 15.5 miles to the camp. There are 24 sites for trailers, tents or RVs up to 16 feet. Picnic tables and fire grills provided with vault toilets and hand-pumped water. Leashed pets okay. Situated at the confluence of Fish Creek and Clackamas River. Birders will enjoy spotting Common Merganser, Belted Kingfisher, American Dipper, Black-headed Grosbeak, Warbling Vireo and White-crowned Sparrow. Open late May to early Sept.
