Built in 1911 by a pioneering cattleman named William Heryford, the brick Queen Anne Victorian was the most modern home in Lake County. It featured six bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, central heating and was wired for electric and telephone service years before public systems were available in Lakeview.
The home was lovingly restored over the past ten years to its original magnificence. As the Heryford Inn, it features three comfortably furnished bedrooms and a shared bath on the second floor for Bed and Breakfast guests.
The Heryford Inn is located in downtown Lakeview, Oregon near the Courthouse, two musuems and movie theater.
