Located in the Willamette National Forest, in Linn County at milepost 66 on Highway 22, Marion Forks Fish Hatchery raises Chinook salmon and steelhead. Marion Forks Campground is a nearby forest service campground with access to fishing on the North Santiam River. Birders will enjoy the conifer forest and riparian habitat species in this area. Careful viewers may spot; blue Grouse, Mountain Quail, Hermit Warbler, Rufus Hummingbird, Hamond's Flycatcher, Gray Jay, Violet-green Swallow, American Dipper, Belted Kingfisher, Varied Thrush and Red-breasted Sapsucker.
