Oregon archaeology, geology, birds, trees and world cultures are featured. The museum is home to 10,000 year old sagebrush sandals from Fort Rock Cave in Central Oregon - The oldest shoes in the world. Exhibits and Museum store open Tuesday - Sunday, noon to 5 pm, suggested admission is $2.00. The museum's research division, the Oregon State Museum of Anthropology, is the repository for all archaeological materials found on Oregon State Lands.
