Munson Creek State Natural Area, 6 miles south of Tillamook, is home to ancient western red cedar and Sitka spruce. The world's second tallest spruce lives here. Munson Creek Falls is the tallest waterfall in the Coast Range, and is an important salmon spawning grounds. A trail system leads visitors to the falls.
