This 260 acre site is nestled on the western slopes of the Cascade Mountains, and is one of the most popular day-use recreation areas in Lane County. Shotgun Creek Park has a Playground, Softball field and 2 Group Picnic Shelters, Horseshoe pits, Childrens play structure, Swimming area and Hiking trails. Facilities include: Potable water, Toilets, 23 Picnic tables and Disabled access. There is an entrance fee. Location: North of Marcola, take a left off of Marcola Road onto Shotgun Creek Road. The recreation area is located about 24 miles northeast of Eugene. It is located about 4 miles west of Marcola. To access the recreation site, follow Marcola Road and turn left onto the Shotgun Creek Road. Follow Shotgun Creek Road for about 2 miles and the site is located on the right.
