Cooper Creek Dam is an excellent recreation site located in a valley adjoining Sutherlin. It provides trout Fishing, boating, separate swimming facilities, two dock areas, ski pattern and many secluded picnic areas. Ford Pond is two miles to the west, where blue gill and crappie abound for family fishing enjoyment.
