At an elevation around 4,000 feet, the Unity Lake State Recreation Site is a mini-oasis in a fairly barren landscape. You can find Unity Lake on Hwy 245, about 20 miles north of the junction with Hwy 26, 53 miles east of John Day and 40 miles south of Baker City in northeastern Oregon.
Facilities include 35 electrical sites, 2 tepees, a picnic area, boat ramp, dock, fully accessible restroom and shower facilities, and waste water disposal station, as well as a hiker/biker camp. Max RV, 40 feet.
Recreational opportunities include fishing, swimming, and boating.
