This structure dates from the 1830s with the most recent addition during the 1870s. Tom and Wanda are painstakingly restoring both the interior and exterior. They have chosen to clad the exterior of the Amethyst Inn in seven colors, creating their second Victorian Painted Lady. Architectural elements including gingerbread, wooden quoins (cornerblocks), medallions, and detail features are highlighted in amethyst, gold, lavender and forest green with a magnificent 9-ft high intricately carved front door. The Amethyst Inn sit high on a hill with a terrific view of historic Main Street. All guest rooms feature antique beds, two person Jacuzzis, and gas log fireplaces.
