This is the 1913 former estate of pharmaceutical magnate Adolph Rosengarten Sr and his family. Thirty acres of the estate have been fashioned into a series of gardens, complete with a creek, a pond, and paths for enjoying the diverse plantings. Included are formal gardens; a meadow; a woodland with shrubs, vines and perennials native to Asia; a summer garden; a native wildflower garden; and produce gardens. Open Wednesday-Saturday 10am-5pm, April-October. Under 17 admitted free.
