Located in Montgomery County northwest of Philadelphia on the north side of the Schuykill River. West Conshohocken is across the river at Exit 29 off Interstate 76.
Conshohocken began as a lively manufacturing village in the 1850s. The city was recognized by the U.S. Congress for its contribution in World War I. During the war, more of Conshohocken's sons and daughters served in the U.S. Armed Forces than any other community in the country.
Conshohocken is part of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-New Jersey metro area.
