Features Engine #604 -- one of the largest switch engines in the world. Built in 1936, the engine hauled ore on the Duluth, Mesabi and Iron Range Railroad. Also displayed are a coal tender, hopper car, a 1913 Empire touring car and a 1952 caboose. Open daily noon-5pm, Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day; Friday-Sunday noon-5pm, May 1 through the day before Memorial Day weekend and day after Labor Day through October 31; other times by appointment. Admission is free.
