Take a walk on the wild side through the Zoo at Bramble Park. You will experience over 350 mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians representing 150 varieties from around the world along with those native to South Dakota. You will encounter wild cats such as Tigers, Snow Leopards, Jaguars, and Mountain Lions. You will see Bison, Elk, Antelope, Deer, Black Bears, Wolves, Black-footed Ferrets, Eagles and many other animals of the Great Plains. For the kids who like to monkey around, check out our primitives. Primitives such as Spider Monkeys, Lemurs, Tamarins, Capuchin Monkeys, and Siamangs. Also special for the children is the Zoo Children's Area. This area is a special exhibit designed to allow children to feed and interact with animals. Live animal demonstrations are presented on weekends during the summer.
