Library Director Greta Chapman in 2003 launched a strategic planning committee to determine how best to serve the community in 2010. Her question: So why are we asking? Can you remember 1994? Most people didn't have email, cell phones, or the Internet in their homes. In the space of a single decade, the world of information and communications has been transformed. Among standard library services offered are Internet access computers that can be used for up to one hour a day, email computers that can be used for up to 15 minutes, and wireless access for patrons who have a laptop equipped with a wireless card.
