Dakota Expeditions, a lodge and outfitter service, is located in central South Dakota, facilitates include guided pheasant and upland bird/waterfowl hunting. They offer a wide variety of upland game birds, including pheasant, Chukar, Hungarian Partridge, Greater Prairie Chickens, Sharptails and dove. There are three on-site lodges with modern day hunting lodge accommodations. The facilities include: An indoor hot tub room, horseshoe pits, dog kennels and a trap thrower. Three filling South Dakota cuisine meals are served each day. Dinner meals include Midwest raised top sirloin steak, fresh pheasant, roast turkey, BBQ Ribs and "Sauced Sow". The Dokata Expeditions also offers fishing trips along the Big Bend Dam and the lower to mid sections of Lake Sharpe.
