Located on South 2nd Street, this museum is housed in the 1898 Federal Building. The museum's architecture consists of Italianate ornamentation, a pyramidal slate roof, Romanesque arches and guardian eagles. Permanent exhibits include a restored 1846 log cabin, a re-creation of a late 19th century Clarksville Avenue, art galleries and a sculpture garden.

Open Tuesday through Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday 1pm-5pm; closed major holidays.
