Located off Hwy 107, this hatchery produces up to 13 million rainbow trout eggs from four different strains each year for distribution around the United States. Artificially fertilized eggs are incubated in jars and are later washed and sorted for shipping to other hatcheries. Growing fish are kept in rows of concrete tanks. All phases of the fish breeding and rearing operations can be seen September through March. A picnic area is on the grounds.
