The Austin Shakespeare Festival presents professional theatre of the highest artistic quality with an emphasis on the plays of William Shakespeare. It is committed in creating a theatre environment in which the full potential of Shakespeare's work can be explored. It is dedicated in maintaining a history of providing outdoor Shakespeare, free of charge, to all members of the public, and to support cultural diversity in all aspects of the Festival's activities.
