Daingerfield State Park consists of 550 acres in Morris County, southwest of Texarkana. It was opened in 1938 in an area that was the center of the iron industry in Texas. The original improvements were made by the Civilian Conservation Corps. The park offers picnicking, camping, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, and nature study.
