The Dickens Historical Museum is the work of several volunteers interested in preserving the history of Dickens County. The building was once used as a hardware store. There are many records and pictures of school happenings, the early days of Dickens County and its history. The cupola that once topped the Dickens County Courthouse is on display here along with old farm machinery, a collection of branding irons, old barbed wire, horse bits and bridles.
