Located .2 miles west of Uvalde this museum contains memorabilia of John Nance Garner, a speaker of the House of Representatives and two-term vice president to Franklin Delano Roosevelt. His nickname, "Cactus Jack," came from his attempts to make the cactus, the state flower of Texas.
