The International Textile Center handles textile research, testing, and evaluation of cotton, animal fibers, man-made fibers, and exotic fibers, textile processing systems and other research. It is located on 17 acres in Lubbock within a 110,000 square-foot facility. The staff of ITC typically conducts about 75 major projects each year and responds to more than 500 requests for testing, evaluation, specialty processing, and manufacturing. Projects are in conjunction with Texas Tech researchers in Engineering, Agriculture and Human Sciences.
