3,624-acre impoundment on Calaveras Creek is among pre-eminent Texas bass lakes with trophy-sized brutes over 12 lbs. Also two non-native species: a hybrid of Texas saltwater seatrout and orange corvina which produces a fish similar to a speckled trout in appearance; and also red drum. Also stocked with hybrid white/striped bass. Boat ramp and lakeside picnic facilities, accessible a few miles SE of San Antonio.
