Located east of Mineral Wells in Parker County, the park consists of about 3300 acres that encompass Lake Mineral Wells. It is located along Rock Creek, a large tributary of the Brazos River. This area was an early home to several Indian tribes, including the Comanche.

Park activities include camping, swimming, fishing, rock climbing, mountain biking, equestrian camping, horseback riding and hiking.
