Every year the Wharf Cat winds its way through the vast Aransas Bay complex in Texas to the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge where magnificent, endangered whooping cranes make their winter home. Along the way, birders view coastal scenery and observe many species of birds that frequent the barrier islands and reefs. The Wharf Cat has a shallow draft and can drift very close to shore, where the captain will make several stops allowing you to get "up close and personal" with the "whoopers". The Wharf Cat has a concession on board with hot and cold food and drinks served in a heated and air conditioned cabin with windows for viewing that can seat up to 84 people. No outside food, drink or coolers allowed on board.
