National Mule Memorial

Search Muleshoe Texas

Mules did an incredible amount of work in the old west for pioneers, pulling wagons, busting sod, hauling freight, and much of the work in building the first roads and railroads, so with the recent decline in numbers this memorial was erected in 1965 in this appropriately named town which holds a mule rodeo every Labor Day.
