The oldest original existing Texas courthouse still stands. Built in Cora, a town near Comanche. It was built in 1856 when Cora was the county seat. When the county was partitioned in 1859, Comanche became the county seat. The vintage building was relocated and now stands on the southwest corner of Comanche's town square.
